Terms and Conditions
Thank you for considering me to provide interpreting services. The rates listed below reflect industry standards.

Rates
$125.00 Initial fee - up to 1.5 hours ♦ $60.00 an hour thereafter
Differential rates may be negotiated at the time of assignment request. This may include legal, platform, theatrical or otherwise more demanding assignments.
Coverage
Assignments that last more than 1.5 hours generally require two interpreters. I know many qualified interpreters that I am happy to refer.
Reimbursable Costs
I do not bill for travel expenses inside the Washington, DC & Baltimore metropolitan areas. Expenses outside the area for travel and lodging are reimbursable at cost.
Short Notice Fee
Assignments scheduled with less than two business days notice may be assessed a $50.00 fee.
Cancellations and No Shows
Cancellations with less than two business days notice will be billed at the regular rate. For assignments that are booked for more than two days, only the first two days will be billed. Cancellations due to inclement weather are billed unless otherwise negotiated. No shows are billed without exception.
Payment Terms
Payment is due within 30 days of invoice receipt. Late payments will be assessed a 4% fee for each additional 15 day period past the due date. Credit cards are accepted.
